Over the years researches about textiles and clothing shows that with economical development priorities of human values from economical and physical comfort are leaning toward to identity belonging, life quality and self-expression. Research analyses main interior elements – color, texture, and compositions etc. what creates comfortable interior. Researches about Latvian applied textiles and geometrical ornaments have been made in Riga Technical University since 1989.
