The authors offer a new approach for assessment and management of impacts of corporate social responsibility. For the society as a whole, it is important to be informed about fragmentary donation manifestations made by entrepreneurs but also notice their positive attitude towards vital social issues and see participation of economic operators in the process of problem solution. The results of this study indicate that economic operators with their desire to earn maximum profit within the shortest time span possible have to a great extent contributed to the sharp recession, demonstrating both weak economic and social responsibility for the ongoing processes in a particular company, industry and in the national economy as a whole.
