This article is about possible changes in marine engineering student training syllabus at Latvian maritime educational institutions after changes made in STCW Convention and Code. This is task where all marine educational and Supervisory institutions should cooperate and work out a new concept of training syllabus for pretenders to obtain license of engineer Officers.
