A tendency to increase building cooling load and consumption of building cooling energy as well as the possibility of using solar heating energy for building cooling supply are related with brand new and essential direction of research in order to provide an achievement of goals of development in energy field. In order to develop completely the use of solar heating energy for building cooling supply, it is necessary to have an advance understanding of non-stationary heat exchange processes in buildings; application and limitation for solar cooling systems. Thus, general theoretical and experimental research of building cooling load and solar cooling systems is necessary as well as the possibility of simulation. At present the results of research in the field of solar heating energy use in building cooling supply are not sufficient. The main object of the research is to work out a method for estimation of building cooling load and application of cooling devices (absorption type) which use solar energy. Worked out method are tested on the target building of the research. To estimate a dynamical cooling load of building a calculation model “CooL” has been developed, which helped to analyze a significance of impact of energy efficiency measures. Experimental research on solar collectors was performed and a simulation of solar cooling system was carried out in the environment of program TRNSYS. The results show that solar cooling system can by completely used in building cooling supply from energy and technical viewpoint. Obtained theoretical and experimental results widen the knowledge on non-stationary heat exchange processes in buildings and on possibility of application of sun heating energy in building cooling supply. The developed method can be applied in minimizing of building cooling load and application of solar cooling system for simulation of building cooling supply.
