The article deals with the problems of behavior of heating surfaces during liquids` boiling processes on ``boiling liquid – solid`` interfaces. Such processes are taking place in a lot of thermal engineering systems, example, heat tubes, steam generators, evaporators, cryogenic systems etc. Problems of solid heating surfaces and boiling liquids` interaction are an object for investigators for a long time, but still there are no full explanation both theoretically and experimentally found. The subject of article are the changes of mechanical properties and material structure of solid heating surface, caused by temperature fluctuations in superheated liquid and heating surface near single vapor bubble nucleate centers and beneath them. Experimental studies of heating surface properties in the vicinity of bubble boiling centers were carried out by using of different techniques, including metallography, surface microhardness analysis, optical methods
