Generating Self-Similar Traffic for Wireless Network Simulation
Internet Communications (BCFIC Riga): 2011 Baltic Congress on Future 2011
Romans Jerjomins, Ernests Pētersons

It was shown many times by different researches that computer network traffic tends to be self-similar. High self-similarity degree has great impact on network routers, switches and wireless access points reducing their capability to process requests. This is why it is important to have simulation models for self-similar traffic. In this article authors propose new method for time sequence generation with high degree of self-similarity.
