Economical Aspects of Construction Industry Development in Latvia

The aim of the study is to explore economical aspects of the construction industry in Latvia over the 2000-2006. The results show that both are added value and the product increments are of an extensive characters. Not withstanding the general tendency of cost rise, specific costs of construction facilities has shown reduction over the period.The analysis proves that construction industry development indexes differ significantly from those of the national economy in general.
