Nano-composite thin films present interesting magnetic, mechanical, electronic and optical properties due to their size-dependent phenomena. Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles present unique properties. The study present production of SiO2/Fe3O4 thin films by encapsulation of iron oxide nanoparticles between two SiO2 layers.
