Compounds, which could be useful for nonlinear optical applications, try to order themselves antiparallely decreasing the macroscopic electro-optical response due to centrosymmetric ordering. Our aim was to synthesize dendronized azobenzene chromophores and to investigate possible amorphous phase stabilization effects on them.
