In this thesis different signal sampling and reconstruction methods are studied with the
aim of developing a theoretical justification for the assumption that the signals with timevarying spectral content can be accurately represented by samples obtained in signaldependent way with more samples taken at high frequency regions and less samples – at low frequency regions.
Keywords
Extended Fourier series, signal-dependent sampling, level-crossing sampling, time-varying filtering
