While analysts inform the general society that Latvia has emerged from the crisis, many households are still unable to pull the increasing heating bill burden. Most households are beginning to pay attention to such basic items as closing doors, more efficient use of hot water. They think how to save electricity, buy efficient light bulbs, install light sensors. Society becomes more aware that energy resources are their money that could be saved. In housing sector the key problem is high energy consumption of residential buildings.
