Zn Nanoparticles Formation in ZnO Crystal by Laser Radiation

The possibility to form Zn nanoparticles in ZnO crystal by laser radiation has been shown. For understanding the mechanism of Zn nanoparticles formation, ZnO crystal was irradiated by laser with different intensities, As a result of investigation, control of electrical conductivity and optical properties of ZnO single crystal such as: photoluminescence and transmittance spectra by pulsed Nd:YAG laser forth harmonic radiation was shown. Zn nanoparticles with size up to 50 nm in ZnO crystal by laser radiation were formed.
