Life-long learning became a highlight of the 20th century, and a new psychology-based theory appeared. The theory is about career development according to the succession and combination of various roles in a lifetime. The determinant of a person’s professional route in the career development theory is their understanding of own personality. Thus, the aim of the article is to reveal the most important career development conditions in secondary and tertiary education. The research is based on the genesis of the career education term, and it formulates the main career components: real-life and professional experience, person’s future prospective, and conscious professional development. The criteria for the study of the content of education have been set (social importance, professional education evaluation, and self-evaluation regularity). The indexes have been studied. The results of the research have been received through “future teachers” deployed questionnaire with factor analysis.
