By reviewing solutions for data transmitting infrastructure applicable to vehicle needs with direct LTE channel and expanded two-rank communication channel LTE and Wi-Fi, it is important to understand which option is technically and economically reasonable. The chosen option of communication solution in this work is justified with evaluation of technical parameters like goodput and response time, as well as efficiency indicators, such as costs and offloading parameter. By evaluating technical parameters in two-rank system a Machine repairmen model is used, where the performance of processing node μ is determined experimentally. The reviewed solutions of vehicle communications are suitable to providing commercial communication channels, for example, in such areas like entertainment, trucking and navigation.
