Pedagogical Psychology
2013
Airisa Šteinberga

The book reveals the integrative nature of pedagogical psychology theory and application, the possibilities of synthesis of various contemporary psychological and pedagogical theories. The described approach approaches the dynamics and diversity of today's real pedagogical situation. The book emphasizes the use of natural learning and the use of educational technologies as a toolkit for learning. The examples presented in the monograph and the analysis of the situations help to find the causes, grounds and solutions for real pedagogical situations. The novelty of the book is the basis for pedagogical psychology as an integrative theoretical sub-branch of psychology and the rationale for the term "development needs" in place of the concept of "age peculiarities".
