Components of Teacher Professional Identity "Collaboration with Colleagues"

The chapter of the monograph on the component of teachers' professional identities, "Interaction with colleagues", looks at teacher-to-teacher comparisons between urban-rural schools and Latvian teachers-Smolensk teachers. The article analyzes the interaction between teachers as a statistically high indicator in the structure of teachers' professional identity, as well as concludes that the cooperation is directed towards the improvement of professional qualification and expansion of self-experience. The most striking difference was between rural and urban teachers, where rural teachers displayed greater activity and responsibility in interaction with their colleagues.
