Modelling of Contaminant Movement for the Span Jelgava - Jurmala of the Lielupe River

After – effects were modelled of possible contaminant spill into the Lielupe river from the railroad bridge of Jelgava town. The Groundwater Vistas modelling programm (usually applied for groundwater flows) was applied as a tool for obtaining data about contaminant travelling time, concentration dynamics of the contamination kernel and processes of delayed contaminant migration caused by banks and the river bottom where water movement was slower.
