The authors have developed a method that uses a probabilistic approach to determining the limits of signs of a helicopter transmission monitoring system during operation and servicing. This paper analyses the conditions of the reasonable determination of limiting values for critical diagnostic signs by the example of displaying actual bending stresses acting during the flight on the main rotor shaft of a single-rotor helicopter.
