Application of dynamic wireless power transfer is constantly growing because it allows reduce battery bank capacity, increase the range, and safety of portable device charging. One of the main difficulties is detection of receiver position. Paper proposes to use specific resonant tank capacitor design that allows automatically activate transmitter coil over which receiver coil is moving. The example of such dynamic charging system was analyzed by using ANSYS and Matlab simulation software. The results confirm that proposed solution allow automatically detect receiver and activate corresponding transmitter coil.
