This research explores fault-tolerant drone cooperation within cellular networks, focusing on performance challenges related to synchronization primitives and the necessity for establishing peer-to-peer (P2P) communication in scenarios where public IP addresses may not be available. We examine the application of drones in the automated inspection of industrial objects, highlighting the potential enhancements through multi-drone deployment. Subsequently, we define the necessary primitives for drone synchronization, underscore the existing gap in the analysis of NAT traversal considerations, and propose a model for conducting further experiments.
