The mixed time integration scheme and nodal control volumes method with a temperature control has been applied to characterize the pultrusion process producing thin-walled corner profiles. Based on the results of parametric study, an optimization problem has been formulated for an effective design of the developed pultrusion process and solved by using the planning of experiments and response surface technique.
