Latvia does not abound in natural resources that could serve as a basis of its economic growth. Nowadays knowledge and qualification of human resources is increasingly becoming the decisive factors for the development of economy. It is necessary to understand that education is basically acquired through the system of education, at the same time the scope of existing problems and the absence of a sustainable and consistent national policy aimed at supporting the educational system and thus the development of human capital is currently yielding sad results.
