Development of Frame Textile Woven Structures
2009
Māris Maniņš, Silvija Kukle

Today, increasing demand for technical textiles. This trend has a tendency to grow by 3.9% per year. European technical textile production occupies an increasingly larger market share of technikal textile the background of clothing fabrics. This is because the textiles are increasingly replacing metals in the economy, plastics and other materials. One of the most promising technical textiles is a frame-type textiles. They are used in many areas from road construction to spacecraft construction. Woven technical textile manufacturing is a special need or custom looms. They must be equipped with two warp rollers. Frame-type fabric is composed of two or more ground fabric and wall fabric, which can be woven or non-woven. Frame-type fabrics, woven interlayer can produce very complex shapes of fabric structures. Frame-type textile interlayer consists of channels that are used in certain functions. These fabrics are usually soaked with the matrix resin to form a strong fabric woven frame. The publication shows the number of frame-type woven linen type fitting parameters and fabric samples. These fabrics are of different structure, and have different application possibilities.
