Multiple Stress Creep Recovery Test of Reclaimed Bitumen at temperature 58°C
Aina Bernava, Remo Merijs-Meri

Multiple Stress Creep Recovery (MSCR) of reclaimed bitumen was done using Test Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) Anton Paar RheoCompass™ equipment, according AASHTO T 350-14 Standard Method. This test method covers the determination of percent recovery and no recoverable creep compliance of asphalt binders by means of the Multiple Stress Creep Recovery (MSCR) test. The MSCR test is conducted at a temperature 58 ° C in 4 stages, the first measurements were taken on one day with repetition immediately after the first and the next two measurements were taken on the next day one after another. 60 cycles per stress level: shear stress loading 0.1 kPa and 3.2 kPa for 1- second loading and 9‐second rest period were applayed. The percent recovery value is intended to provide a means for determining the elastic response and stress dependence of modified and unmodified asphalt binders.
