This paper explores modern internet technology implementation possibilities, describes advantages and disadvantages using each technology as well as gives advice how to improve website using them. Technologies that will be described includes asynchronous data exchange, information delivery to subscribers and two data transmitting/receiving standards. Article also describes technologies (AJAX, RSS, Atom, XML-RPC, JSON) according to choose comparison criteria (User Experience; Cross-browser capability; Ease of Use; Network Performance; Code Amount; Designer Tools). As conclusion article describes each technology according to website completion stage, for example, if existing project is already finished – AJAX implementing isn’t good and fast enough in such case. In other case, adding syndication feeds like RSS to site is always good idea, because users should be able to decide about page visiting before real attempt. Remoting, such as XML-RPC and JSON isn’t visible to end-user and could be substituted with other technologies, like Adobe Flash. Thus, decision about implementing this techniques need to be concerned using global project plans and stylus.
