The objective of the research is to determine/find work organization form alternatives for the progressive bundle system and teamwork in modular manufacturing, as well as to determine the conditions of their implementation and maintenance in a sewing room. Fulfilling these, the working capacity of the most competitive Latvian sewing companies - woman underwear and special assignment clothing - in the inner and outer markets would rise. Research in Latvian sewing companies has been carried through where one of the companies has a team-work work organization form in the corset article production. 5 - 7 persons are joined in a team using traditional, unchanged sewing equipment. During the research characteristics of the team work and the aggregate group flow work organization forms have been determined and observed. In its turn in another company the existent group flow work organization form has been researched to evaluate the conditions of an implementation of a team work organization form by analyzing the work productivity in the sewing room and the financial flow in the company, paying special attention to operative costs. The paper shows the results of situation analysis in Latvian clothing industry using the production and financial flow data statistical analysis method. As a result of the research conditions have been worked out - if these would be fulfilled it would be possible to evaluate the viability of a flow work organization in a company, determining if it is worth keeping/stimulating or if it is time and if the financial resources are right to change to a teamwork work organization form. The research has only been carried out on a very limited number of subjects. It is caused by a very low level of cooperation of Latvia’s textile enterprises in such researches. However, as Latvia is a small country, data for this research was sufficient and the results clearly show the situation. This information hasn’t been previously published in this way. It will help to evaluate the development perspectives of Latvian companies.
