Technical Diagnostics of Induction Motors as a Result of Spectral Analysis of the Consumed Current

A method of technical diagnostics of induction motors is presented. The method is based on the spectral analysis of motor currents. Technical diagnostics is carried out using multifunction sensors of motor. Analysis of magnetic field induced in the harmonic spectrum of stator winding currents of electrical machine as well as winding currents allows identifying defects in the motor. The calculations of the magnetic field of the explored motor are presented both with the presence of defect and without it. Using the suggested method it is possible to assess the technical condition of the device and its operating resource.
