Clothing comfort is a very important aspect of garment quality evaluation. It is especially significant in the designing of smart clothing, where specific design is complemented with the presence of electronic components. The electronic system must provide an additional value for clothing instead of causing discomfort. The article summarizes a number of recommendations for a comfortable smart clothing design, by analyzing human-clothing interaction, processes of heat and moisture conduction, under-garment microclimate, as well as offering constructive solutions for garments and the appropriate use of materials for a better circulation of heat through clothing.
