It’s formulated what the public transport system sustainable development is. Large systems and large system control are also discovered during this research. Public transport system control as a large system control for system sustainability is offered. Public transport system sustainable development is formalised. Analyzing world experience in designing and use of control systems of city passenger transport, it is possible to assume that introduction of similar system in the city of Riga will have a positive effect. Considering experience of other countries, it is possible also to assume approximately-necessary functionality of system. Three-level centralized control system solution concept is offered in this article, as good as monitoring tool concept for public transport system sustainability conditions monitoring.
