Various methods based on mathematical modeling for the analysis of a functioning system or processes are widely used. Mathematical models has been created and used to perform a full spectrum analysis, investigate the performance under fault conditions and predict further status of the system. Also these models could be used to select or generate a recovery strategy. A correct recovery strategy can stabilize the operation of the system and improve the overall performance conditions. In this article a method for the synthesis of an optimal recovery strategy based on multi-objective genetic algorithms has been proposed. As an implementation of the proposed method an example from medicine is described.
