The Riga school of architecture presented now by the Faculty of Architecture and Urban planning, Riga Technical University, is continuing one and a half century old traditions of architectural education. Most of the practicing architects not only in Riga, but in the whole Latvia are graduates of local school. Therefore, the school has the main responsibility on the processes in Latvian architecture. The lasts achievements of Latvian architecture are analyzed in the article.
