The processes of creep and creep recovery of multilayer textile materials in terms of uniaxial tensile were investigated. During creep tests sample general deformation and its components during loading and after were defined using FRYMA fabric extensiometer with the precision to comply with BS4294:1968. Concerning loading duration sudden and creep deformations were defined from general deformation. After unloading-reversible deformation. After unloading- reversible deformation, elastic deformation and creep recovery, as well as residual deformation were determined. The values of deformation and its components for all investigated multilayer textile are presented in this investigation. Tests were performed with multilayer textile materials mainly used in upholstered furniture production (thickness varied in the range of 0.61mm-2.52mm; area density varied in range of 180 g/m2 – 672 g/m2. Data of nine different fabrics was analysed.
