The goal of this work is to develop a methodology of investing in stocks, according to a prospective investor may establish to form short-term stock portfolio up to 3 months. The major point of paper is a comparative analysis, in accordance with which, using the quarterly reports of corporations, gives investors the opportunity to develop a methodology of how to select stocks. The basis of this publication is the stock selection system developed by one of the authors and presented on the home page www.laurison.com. The subject of the study is to develop methodology to select stocks to form short-term investment portfolio. The main conclusion is that the approach developed by the authors to short-term investments in the stock market can be used not only as a standard model, but also as a base for further improvement and development of the methodology created by authors.
