This paper is devoted to description of environment for distance lessons, suitable for both remote lectures and hand-on trainings for mastering of particular software products. Proposed solution is based on existing experience of authors and the cloud computing possibilities. Within considered solution teacher can manage virtual instances of the computers for the learning purposes. Students connect remotely to the virtual computers and perform tasks under monitoring and control of teacher. Teacher and students can work simultaneously with the same instance of software unit if required - students and teacher could collaborate. This approach gives more flexibility and security in comparison with the previous authors’ solution. Flexibility comes with possibility to clone, snapshot the virtual computers with all the settings and the software inside required for the lessons. Security is provided by virtualization – students connect to non-physical computers and the security is managed by the cloud platform provider.
