The authors are considering the results of their research in the basic energy saving features of direct frequency conversion. From the solutions of direct frequency conversion, considered are only those which have left an essential trace in the evolution of direct convertion. Although the solutions of the problem involve certain approximations, they still reveal the energy saving features of the conversion phenomena and will promote further frequency conversion analysis and control.
