New bispyridinium dibromides on the 1,4-DHP core were synthesized in the reaction between 4-pyridyl-1,4-DHP derivatives and propargyl bromide. The antiradical activity using the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazine free radicals scavening and reducing capacity using phosphomolybdenum complexmethods of newly synthesized compounds have been evaluated.
