The goal of the HMS conference is to understand how and to which extent the “logistics change” can be supported by Modeling & Simulation. Over the year, Modeling & Simulation has already proved to be one of the most suitable approaches to support both training and decision support in logistics and supply chain; and nowadays the role of Modeling & Simulation is becoming even more important thanks to the evolution of the concept of “Simulation as a Service”.
