The main objective of this paper is to offer an ion-plasma technology for the production of Ti (titanium) and titanium nitride (TiN) erosion-resistant nano-coatings for machine building products, which provides coatings with optimum and stable properties. As a result of experiments and experimental data processing the optimal composition of ion-plasma titanium and titanium nitride nano-coatings was obtained and offered. The developed technology was tested on the existing machine building products (compressor blades of helicopter gas turbine; base material: Incoloy 800). A comparative study on the influence of the coating on surface quality, coefficient of friction, adhesion strength and erosion resistance was carried out.
