This paper provides the theoretic background on a fully developed MHD flow of a conducting fluid in a rectangular duct which has perfectly conducting Hartmann walls, insulating side walls and a slip boundary condition applied to the side walls. An exact analytical solution of the problem is obtained in the form of convergent series. The effect of the slip length and the Hartmann number on the fluid velocity is analyzed. The volumetric flow rate and pressure drop coefficient are evaluated.
