Anotācija In nowadays arched shapes are becoming more popular in building and furniture design. In this paper there is analysed bent-glued product manufacturing technology for two different wood base materials and a combination of traditional and innovative materials - MDF and flexible plywood. Wooden base board materials were tested to determine exact mechanical and physical parameters, in a result achieving main positive properties of each tested material. Load resistance and everlasting deformation are essential mechanical properties of bent material. Each wooden board is unique and it can be affected by various factors as thickness, humidity and density. Dependant factor during gluing process is choice of glue and gluing technique. It influences strength, elasticity, deformation, and stress resistance for glued product. Materials used in research: 3mm MDF (Size: 2440x2220 mm; manufacturer: FINSA POLSKA) and 6mm flexible plywood (Size: 2440x1220 mm; manufacturer: Super Form). Adhesives: PVA glue Kleiberit D3 300 and Kleiberit 303.0 – PVA dispersion glue D4 with additive Kleiberit 303.5 hardener (5%) (EPI system glue). Bent samples are made using matrix and vacuum press at 50°C. It will be possible to project the matrix, taking in account the offset, so that the bent part is precisely the size required for the product. The results of this test would help the experts of the field and those working with the technology of bending wood, craftsmen and engineers when projecting matrix for specific products, where the offset of the part’s radius can’t be significant. It is important to create light, compatible product with low expenses from materials with specific technological process, therefore the result must be predictable and precise.
