The purpose of the paper is to develop the algorithm for assessment of collisions risks at level-crossings. The paper proposes the solution for anti-collision embedded control software for safety system for Latvian railways. The algorithm minimizes simultaneous existence of a railway and road vehicles at level-crossings. The research includes the development of multi-criteria assessment function, algorithm, mathematical and computer models, system prototype and field experiments for level-crossing anti-collision task.
