The aim of this study is identify durability characteristics of reinforced concrete poles for low voltage network that are used worldwide. Results, obtained from non-destructive methods were compared with destructive testing results performed in laboratory. The sample loading revealed high correlation of such Acoustic emission (AE) parameters such as AE absolute energy, AE amplitude, AE hits, AE summary counts with fatigue and destructive failure or breaking. Laboratory tests highlighted advantage of acoustic emission testing method above ultrasound testing method that is not taking into account adhesion with reinforcement. Linear regressive model and also safety coefficient that allows easily and effectively evaluate lifetime of reinforced concrete poles was calculated on obtained result basis.
