A new composite coagulant, representing a polymer-colloid complex of polyethyleneimine with polyvalent metal ions, was developed. Using this coagulant, the separation of total biomass and lignin from the model solution is 97% and 65%, respectively. The separated wood biomass is able to glue dusty sand, with the formation of sandy aggregates. The obtained results show its potential application as an environmentally friendly structuring agent for dust suppression.
