Experiments have been carried out on strobe converters based on transistors and tunnel diodes with frequency bands at 1500 and 4500 MHz, correspondingly. The problem of determining the pulse characteristic was solved using measuring tables of the input and output signals. The input signal was measured in the form of a sharp jump by a broadband strobe oscilloscope with a frequency band of up to 20 GHz. The task of signal restoration was solved by the known frequency method using estimated impulse response. This signal processing has allowed to expand the frequency range of investigated converters.
