More and more of us spend and manage our lives online, so we need to be sure that we are fully protected, and at the same time we expect to receive high quality internet access service. We should benefit from the best content, deals and services. The technical solutions and regulations must enhance the interoperability of devices, applications, data repositories, services and networks. 5G, the next generation of broadband mobile communication technologies, is being developed. 5G aim is to provide seamless coverage, high data rates, low latency, low power and highly reliable communications. 5G use cases, which are under consideration, include not only enhanced mobile broadband communications but also massive machine type communications, Internet of Things, home and industrial automation and applications. It is thus seen as a driving factor in innovative areas such as the creation of smart cities, augmented reality, mission critical applications, self-driving cars and industry automation. To reach goals concerning high quality internet access, one of the main aspect is a persistent monitoring and assessment of quality of service. It is necessary to be provided to receive comparable and comprehensive information sufficient to make conclusions for a given area from the consumer perspective. The quality of service monitoring result mapping is relevant in order to support the achievement of the broadband-related objectives and to reduce the cost of deploying high-speed electronic communications networks as well. In the case of quality of service mapping, it has to be taken into account that a successful broadband mapping initiative needs to find a good balance between the extent and level of detail of mapping on the one hand and the necessary amount of resources on the other hand. The main objectives of this investigation are to review requisite measurement data processing and analysis in order to conform with the approach of broadband mapping initiative in data representation, as well to find the most optimal data visualisation facility to achieve objective and comparable appraisal of measurement results between European countries. Provided measurement methodology and concept for the data visualisation on map offers the guidance to provide the objective, practical and easily available information for the consumers and end-users concerning mobile internet access service quality aspects.
