One of the most common, perspective and popular directions of scrap tyres reuse is the combination with polymer binder and eventually a production of composite material. Grinded at room temperatuure, unfractioned rubber crumb from scrap tyres and polyurethane (PU) type polymer binder with defined reactivity (C-CNO 2.42%) were used. Composite material samples were prepared by mechanical mixing of necessary components, moulding (P=0.004MPa) of samples in uniform moulds and hardening of samples under T=18-22C0,24 h. Variable relative air humidity (RH) was ensured during production of material samples. Dried and specially treated with water rubber crumb were also used. Compresive stress at 10% def. (LVS EN ISO 527-3), modulus of elasticity E (EN 826), Shore C hardness (ISO 7619-1) and apparent density AD (kg/m3) were investigated.
