Regionalism (Localism) as a research subject in the built environment has many edges, shades and intensities of concern. It also has many names. Three cornerstones are set as relevant to this topic and research. First, the subject is complex by facing multi-layered disciplines. Second, it has a plural structure- emotional, intellectual, socioeconomic and processional. Presuming that regionalism is not much more than attitudes assigned to it, the aim of this publication is to identify the appropriate ways for in-sighting, in conclusions coming up to three approaches.
