Development of V2V and GPS Based Collision Warning Algorithm for Uncontrolled Intersections
2017 Electronics : Proceedings of the Conference 2017
Janeks Ahrems

The present article proposes a vehicle collision warning algorithm on an uncontrolled road intersection in a situation when a vehicle enters an intersection from a side road starting from a full stop position. A decision about potential collision is made by analysing information received from the Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation system and the V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) communications.
