The aim of the research was to assess the bacterial and eukaryotic diversity in hot drinking water circulation system’s biofilms in apartment buildings in Riga, the capital of Latvia, after combination of chlorination and ozonation and reduction of residual concentration of chlorine in water from 0.5 mg/l to 0.2 mg/l in 2001.
