Phase change materials (PCM) are known for applications in thermal storage, with capability of absorbing and releasing large amount of energy, when material changes phases from liquid to solid at certain temperatures. As latent heat has gained importance over the years, it is important that there are developed methods to determine properties. In this work T-History method is tested for determination of specific heat of liquid and solid PCM and heat of fusion. Four PCM samples were used, two mixtures of organic PCM and two mixtures of inorganic salts. The results showed that the applied experimental set-up allows to determine heat of fusion which is in good agreement with values stated by manufacturer.
